FPA200 (WEEK 4) - BRIEFING AND IDENTIFYING THE MAIN PROBLEM OF DURIAN TREES

WEEK 4 (19 April 2024) 


 

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone!!! Welcome to my blog😊. Salam UITM dihatiku! My name is Nur 'Ain Syafiqah Binti Mohamad Hirani. I am from Selangor. I studied in Diploma In Planting Industry Management (DPIM) at UiTM Melaka Campus Jasin. By the way, this is a blog about FPA200 Fieldwork III that all DPIM's student will learn during semester 3. Hope that everyone will get useful information from my blog and hope you enjoy it !!!

Every Friday in semester 3, all students part 1 until part 3 from Faculty Of Plantation And Agrotechnology need to get together in the field. In this blog, I want to show our time and activity that we have followed :


6:30 a.m. - 6:50 a.m.
  • Gathered in the parking lot next to the lecture block
  • Our class representative take attendance for class B
6:50 a.m. - 7:20 a.m.
  • Line up according to their respective classes from class A until class D
  • Warm up 
7:20 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
  • Moved to Agrotech Plantation site.
  • Sing the National Anthem, next is Wawasan Setia Warga UiTM and Planters Song followed by prayer.
  • Supervisor give a speech. 
8:00 a.m. - 9.30 a.m.
  • All student from class B moved to the Durian plot and our  lecturer Sir Fairuz  give a briefing about our activities during semester 3.
  • Our activities is doing maintenance in the durian plot area.
  • Class dismissed.

  • Planning for next activities : fertilize around the canopy (granules)
  • Equipment : fertilizer bucket (1 unit), glove (1 pair), small scoop (1 unit)
  • Input : NPK green fertilizer for small trees (500 g/tree x 3 tree = 1.5 kg)
